So the season is winding up...

And sadly, it doesn't look like The Fairies are gunna make the playoffs...

Peatfingers Sets Rookie RBI Record
BUCKLEBURY - Samwise "The Bat" Peatfingers set a new season Shire Conference Rookie Record for RBI with 132. The young hobbit first baseman has been tearing up the league and looks like a shoo-in for the Frodo Rookie Award. He was named to the All-Star Game in July and is currently hitting .301 with 38 HR.

Mawaan Sets Shire Conference Record for Hits
BUCKLEBURY - Scarlett Mawaan set a new season Shire Conference Record for Hits with her 210th this week. The Fairies outfielder finished the week with 212--just 8 behind the League record of 212, set by Theo Nering in 2004.

Woo. Next year is *so* gunna be our year though, I mean hey, for the first half of the season we were the SECOND WORST PITCHERS IN THE LEAGUE! But not anymore... mwahahaha
