WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The Bush administration is preparing plans for possible lifetime detention of suspected terrorists, including hundreds whom the government does not have enough evidence to charge in courts, The Washington Post reported Sunday.

WTF??

Surely this breaks some kind of international laws? You can't just hold people forever, just based on the fact that you don't have enough evidence to charge them!!!

c'mon? If an American citizen was held by say, Saudi Arabia, or even England because "We don't have any evidence to prosecute them with, there would be a huge noise about this. There would be international sanctions, hell, there would prolly even be military operations.

hmmm, I guess these people just don't deserve to have any damn rights at all.
